We'd love to tell you a little about our history. Erik van der Vegt founded Vegniek in 2013 in Luttelgeest. With roots in agriculture, he began developing innovative machines for the agricultural sector. One of the first machines, the forward box tipper, became a success. This also fueled demand for other innovative machines. The manufacturing sector also came to us. Over the years, Vegniek has developed various machines for the industrial sector.
A new machine often starts with our own idea or a market demand. We devise solutions, examine them from every angle, and then start designing. We develop the best designs into detailed 3D drawings. To test a machine's operation, we use computer simulation. This way, we leave nothing to chance. The Vegniek team is growing steadily. We now consist of a group of dedicated welders, fitters, and designers. In 2020, we moved to a new building in Emmeloord (Flevoland) with ample space for design and implementation.
Schools have also found their way to Vegniek. We've become a work-study company and offer internships, both in our fully equipped workshop and in our design department. Vegniek is a challenging learning environment for pupils and students.
