The Selecto Vision makes it possible to remove diseased potato plants at an early stage and with high accuracy. Using 8 cameras and AI, diseased plants with, for example, the Y virus or leaf roll are detected. As soon as the system detects a diseased plant, the machine stops and a blue spot indicates the plant in question. The plant can then be removed. An efficient method with minimal driving movements in the field.

Depending on the disease pressure within the specific variety, the Selecto Vision can be operated by one or two people. Once the system has collected enough data, the selection process can be carried out completely by one single person, without requiring extensive knowledge of potato selection. Thanks to the hydraulically adjustable and swiveling seats, the seat can be easily positioned in the center of the machine when it is operated by a single person.
Seed potato selection means working with a natural product and, as a result, with continuously changing conditions. That is why it is important that users can easily train the system, when necessary, using new disease patterns, crop varieties, and conditions.The frame on which the cameras are mounted is positioned out of the operator's field of view. This provides a clear view of the crop, enabling efficient machine training.
During the potato selection process, the machine collects all relevant information, including GPS locations. This allows the system to review previous selection rounds when a detection is made, and trains the system to recognize diseased plants at an earlier stage.
